Ice is slippery
Ice is not in the slightest bit slippery, as can be experienced by opening a freezer and touching the white crusty ice that forms on the walls. Ice becomes slippery only when the surface layer thaws and a fine film of water forms over the top, making it slick.
Surprise - Lots more snow
Every night this last week channel 6 had been predicting that this weekend we would be getting at least 6 inches of snow. Richard each night changed the channel and said the other channel’s weather people were not saying anything about snow. Then Friday night all the channels were saying snow.
