Garlic!

I harvested my garlic this weekend.  It now has to dry for 3 weeks, then it will be ready to use.  Pretty Cool!

4th of July Weekend

Weather:
Three days of beautiful weather.  Warm but not too hot.  Rained on Friday evening, clear and sunny on Saturday and Sunday.
Plantings:
Nothing planted this weekend.  Should have planted radishes.  Will do during the upcoming week.
Activities:

Painted the tact room in the barn, preparing for chicks next spring.
Mowed the front lawn/watered the vegetable garden

End of June

Weather:
Has been in the 90°s all weekend and is supposed to be that way til the middle of July. 
Plantings:

Road to Recovery

Richard is well on his way to recovery.  He says that his stitches itch and he still is not as mobile as he probably would like but he is much better.  One more trip to the doctor’s office on Monday to have some more equipment removed and he will be a free man.
