About me

Welcome to my website.

I’m Diane Pfaeffle, a nonprofit leader, community advocate, and lifelong learner based in Deer Park, Washington. My passion is building stronger communities through service, leadership, and practical solutions that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

As the Director of GreenHouse Food Bank & Resource Center, I have the privilege of working alongside dedicated volunteers, community partners, donors, and local organizations to help ensure that individuals and families have access to nutritious food, essential resources, and hope during difficult times. I believe that a successful nonprofit is built on integrity, strong governance, responsible stewardship, and compassionate service.

This website is also a place to share some of the things I enjoy outside of my nonprofit work. You’ll find notes about books I’ve read, quilting projects, recipes worth keeping, and other interests that have become part of my life’s journey. I enjoy learning new things and believe there is always room to improve, whether that’s through reading, technology, organizational leadership, or simply listening to the experiences of others.

Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed helping organizations become stronger by improving policies, developing effective governance practices, and creating systems that allow volunteers and staff to focus on what matters most—serving people well.

Whether you’re here because we share an interest in nonprofit leadership, community service, books, quilting, or simply happened to find your way to my website, I’m glad you stopped by.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find something here that is useful, informative, or encouraging.
